Sedecordle Wordle works without an account. This page explains what that means for your data.
Data stored on your device
Your game progress, statistics and settings are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. They are never sent to us. You can export them from Settings, and you can delete them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Cookies
The game itself doesn't set cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we'll use a privacy-friendly service and update this page first. Pages that are only text, such as answer pages and guides, contain no scripts at all.
Server logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Links to other sites
Word meanings come from Wiktionary, and share buttons open the service you choose. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we don't send them anything unless you click a link or a share button yourself.
What we don't collect
We don't ask for your name, email address, phone number or location, and there is nothing to sign up for. We don't build advertising profiles and we don't sell or share data with anyone. The word lists your browser downloads are the same for every visitor, so even those requests reveal nothing about you beyond the language you play in.
Your choices
Because everything lives in your browser, you are in control. Clearing the site data removes your statistics and settings for good; private or incognito windows start fresh each time; and the export button in Settings gives you a copy of everything we store, in a plain JSON file you can read yourself.
Children
The game is suitable for all ages and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone. There are no accounts, chats or public profiles.
